And now I have all these codes, I bought another ccv kit just incase the one I got was faulty, yet I still have the codes. I have today replaced the plugs, coil packs, new inlet pipe , yet they will not clear.
I have checked everything 6 times and all is plugged in .
I have even leak tested the car and i have no air leaks.
What can it be? The codes I'm getting are:

002747 misfire cyc 6
00274e misfire at a plurality of cylinders
00278c intake air temperature sensor
00281e activaton disa final stage
I have driven the car to see if thry clear but they dont, idle is fine and drives pefrctly

Error codes after ccv replacement
Welcome to the forum.
Just to clarify, have you actually reset all these codes and they all come back? Or are you hoping they'll disappear on their own?
Also, are you sure they weren't there before you did the work?

Error codes after ccv replacement
Hi, yer my bad, I didn't add that
Yer I have reset the codes various times with carly, even disconnected the battery for 1 hour to no avail.
This morning I checked the plugs and they are dry, disa is working when I disconnect it, I can see the arm moving freely ( I recently replaced with a metal one).
Im at a complete

So it drives fine yet you have misfire codes? Sounds like they are historical and for some reason your code reader isnโt clearing them.

I find it very odd that you get exactly the same ones back every time. Are they actually clearing?Decoy19822 wrote: โSun Jul 31, 2022 11:36 am Yes sir that is correct , it's very strange that they will not clear !

Could you maybe find someone close by with a different code reader that may reset them?
Whereabouts are you?

This has now been fixed. It was an airleak in the vacuum lines under the inlet manifold

Smoke test would have found that air leak, BMW engines rely on a good sealed vacuum system to run correctly, air leaks across the engine will affect the cars fueling and mess up its fuel trims and often cause rough running EML usually sets after it reaches 20% more fuel being added to compensate for what it sees as a lean condition from the extra air getting on that hasn't passes through the MAF sensor. It gives up at that point and sets the EML to draw attention, codes set usually relate to exceeding fuel trims.
