Horn replacement

Post by Southwestz4 » Wed Jul 20, 2022 9:25 pm

I have just noticed that my low freq horn is not working so I have bought some Fiamm Am80s horns as replacements but I notice they draw 10A as a pair, is this two high current loading as I belive the horn fuse is 5A ? :?

A quick look at the wiring diagram shows that the horn relay is protected by a 5A fuse, but the horns themselves are on a 15A fuse.
So you'll be OK.
