Selling a one off!
I have been a member on here for 4 years and have used the forum to check out solutions to issues I've had with the car and also enjoyed seeing other people's posts. I'm not super knowledgeable and I cannot take the credit for my Z4s customisation as it was the previous owners work that made me fall in love with the car. I did not mean to annoy more active members with one post in 4 years, but it seemed a good idea to make passionate enthusiasts aware I'm selling as someone may fall in love with it like I did.
I am happy for admin to remove the post if it is not the right thing to do.
Stay safe and well all

I apologise. I saw the bit that said one post but not the bit that said how long you'd been a member for.
GLWTS, it's a cracking car.

Think we were there the same year at Zfest Mark & this car stood out in so many ways.
The colour & the standard that all mods had been carried out certainly registered with myself & the others i was at the show with , it was exemplary.
The negative hasn't changed however , discussed on the day & afterwards , , why you would put this amount of effort into a 5 spd 2.5 se
Ive owned a 2.5se ( bought with issues ) , once fettled it did everything "ok" but not exactly a model you desire to own

Please don't take offence johnbeech79 we are a happy lot and tend to poke fun at each other without meaning any harm. You have a fabulous car and if I didn't have one I like already I would buy it GLWTS
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters βcause theyβre great with the roof down.

Why, oh why, are you trying to destroy the OP's ad, and put off anyone that may be interested? Why would you do that?

Yes, indeed it was.
I had the pleasure of meeting John, the Original owner of this car a few times on runs, National meet, etc.
He owned it for years,in its Original Titanium Silver.
It was a very well looked after car
Then one winter he decided to do a few mods, which grew arms and legs....
Until he finished with this wonderful z.
Seen it in the flesh before John sold it(2018),and it really is a beautiful looking car, with many nice touches, and lots of John's hard work.
Definitely one of a kind

Did he do the paint job himself as well? I wonder if he would do mine as well.

Some colours suit cars more than others, but I have to say this is the best 'unique' respray I've seen. Absolutely suits the E85 down to the ground. A beautiful example.Johnbeech79 wrote: βWed Jun 22, 2022 11:00 am http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details ... obcid=soc3

Wow. That's seriously impressive for a home spray job. He must have experience with spraying possibly even as a hobby.
I'll be spraying a log cabin at some point but that's a different ball game.

He joked when I first talked to him after he had done it,on a National meet, that he had only planned a few minor mods over that winter, and it ended up this, which is very nice .I had the pleasure of seeing it in its Original Silver too,a few years earlier, and it was a very good condition car,so it was truly a big ,brave thing to do .
The end product is amazing. Think the colour is a Mercedes or Chevrolet colour,as opposed to a BMW one
Lovely though.
