Hiya not posted for a while

I find myself with a big Problem, if this goes ahead I will have to Sell my beloved Z, always keeping it chip free from stones, about to get the wheels powder coated and breaks,
is it worth it,
It will be £12.50 a day for me to use the Z any day I wish to use it,

in fact the same with my other car 62 Plate Zafira had from New only 37k on this has been a great work horse, again I will have to sell due to the New ULEZ,
I feel so bitter that I will be forced into this corner, I understand the reason to help Environment etc etc, but feel do upset with this situation

Hi Kev,

Is your Z4 a Gen1? Forgive me if I am wrong, I think so from the small picture!
The answer is to get a face lift LCI or whatever they call it!
I've got a new (to me) 13 640d and my 07 Z4 is the only car we can currently take into town. So to dodge the fine when seeing a mate in Wood Green, I take the poor Z4 through about 40 mins of stop start very unfun driving. It's a bit of a faff I must say.

I 100% feel bitter with the force, I'm totally with you there.
I really think the ULEZ in general is a naff idea, not quite hitting the mark.
I'm all for using the train, but I've got Greater Abellio up here and it's so much £ for so little.

Could a LCI model take your fancy to fill the zed shaped hole in your life? IF you came to sell of course.

Unless you've got a diesel Z4 :!: or diesel zafira you have nothing to worry about with ULEZ. A z4 3L 03 car is euro 4 compliant which is fine for ulez.
I think you are getting confused with diesels, where <2013 are not allowed (more specifically anything below eur06 for diesel).

As TomK says your car should be Euro 4 so compliant - my 2002 E46 Compact with a 2.5 litre M54 was. Even my MC is Euro 4!

It's only diesels that need to be Euro 6 IIRC.
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

Ahhh, I think maybe you saw the charge for the congestion zone?
So putting in my Z4, I get the congestion charge, which is a much smaller zone
But putting in the 640d I get the congestion charge and the ULEZ charge. So I think you are all good!

So I think good news for now and you can plan the move to Northamptonshire properly without jumping up there immediately!
