Hi guys , I just bought a 2003 Z4 and when I try to clean up my new toy then I when to the battery and found a big plug with wires that’s have been cut and connect to each other , but the module or whatever component the plug have to plug in is not there . So with my thoughts is there any module or component is next to the battery ? It’s maybe broken so the bmw tech discard it and try to bypass it ?

Welcome to the forum. Do you have a picture of the connection as is? That would no doubt help others to answer your question. :)

That is where the amplifier would have been. I assume you have the big speakers behind the seats?
Looks like someone has removed it and possibly fitted another one somewhere?

Could do with being tidier though couldn't it. :D

Maybe if you can't remove it all then you could use a small plastic box and feed everything inside that?
