So I clicked on enquire now and she came back with a price. I think she got it wrong, and I had already ordered it from somewhere else.

Seems a lot of money for a couple of oil changes and brake fluid..plus the odd air / pollen filter?

Once they’ve got you in the garage it will cost you big time for pads / discs etc?
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is

That's because 'M' stands for Money with BMW.
I "have" to have 6 new plugs and a fuel filter on my B58 next week, otherwise they can't reset the iDrive service indicators apparently. That and an oil service will be £454 thank you. It's done 12,000 miles! :o

Never again! Absolute rip-off.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Change your Indy.

Cost of circa 6 / 8 litres of good oil, fluid to flush the system and about an hours labour at most.

Apologies, forgot the oil filter.

From memory my 35is was about £180 all in.

Can't change; they are the ONLY indy within 30 mile radius who can reset the iDrive AND update BMW server. I need a proper full service history!

It pi**es me off, as the Z4 just had a service, brake fluid change AND an MOT for £200 from a really good local garage which is walking distance. But they can't do iDrive stuff.

For the price of a couple of gallons of fuel, would consider ringing around to see what prices others perhaps a little further away would charge.

My Indy used an App on his laptop plugged into the car to update everything which seemed very quick and simple.
