Z4MR breaking...regrettably I might add

Been at this decision point many times with my Z4MC

Luckily I had BMW warranty up to 100k miles, so some big things were replaced previously. I've also had a 2nd diff paid for due to accident damage.

Clutch & flywheel was the next large bill...but only at 140k miles.

Other potential big bills have simply enabled me to sway things our for cheaper/better aftermarket items (e.g. B16/PSS10 suspension, Brembo calipers, etc.)

How are the brake discs?

Also we need our standard wheels refurbing, so if anyone is doing some swapping about with yours then a set of wheels to buy/borrow/rent whilst we do ours would be useful.

Might be interested in the m bonnet. Presume roadster and coupes bonnets are interchangeable. Would he for a standard coupe…?

As far as I'm aware they're interchangeable as per realoem.com. For sale thread already created for the bonnet on marketplace.

I'm Sutton Coldfield near Lichfield. The brake discs are worn and corroded but calipers seems decent. Wheels are provisionally sold but if that changes I'll put them up on marketplace.

Front wings are rust free although the nearside has a blemish prior to my ownership. Happy for you to come and have a gander, just pm me for details.

Headlight switch and cluster not working properly as I think it's related to DM/no Crank no start issues or so I'm told (something to with kanbus communication apparently?) . If I can get them to work, then I'll offer them up.

Someone coming to look at engine tomorrow, gear knob is not genuine, happy to sell cheap but honestly not great quality. I'll note your interest in the other bits and pieces.
