Morning all,
New Z4 owner from NE Scotland.
Picked up my Z4 last week for a bit of summer fun.
Mechanically the car seems pretty sound. Bodywork looks good as well. Some small aesthetic issues to address such a flaking BMW badges, faded M badges, fog lights have a some pond scum growing in them, mid brake light is cracked etc, nothing major. Car could be done with some TLC, polish/wax/back to black etc. Looking to freshen the car up a bit.

Enjoy your Zed, love the colour and wheel combo.
We’re over that general direction in a week or so

Welcome aboard. Nice looking motor.
Your list of issues sounds pretty straightforward to sort out.
Have a search through here for ideas, but I do know a lot of people fit blanks where those fogs are, or simply paint over them. They are notorious for condensation.

Welcome along, and as others have said, that's a lovely looking Z.
The forum has been a great asset to me, so I've no doubt you'll get the info you need for what should be straightforward fixes.
(I rarely saw the sun during my time in Scotland, so I can only presume that photo was taken elsewhere )

Welcome to the forum.
Your car looks great on those Ellipsoid wheels, but sadly manky foglights go with the territory on facelifts.
My only Scottish connection is that my Dad was born in Muir-of-Ord.

Well, you did an exceptional job of keeping it hidden for the 18 months or so I was there then.
(obviously I jest, I'm hardly coming from a position of high standing being based in the - usually quite damp - Irish midlands )
If you could arrange for it to re-appear when I finally get around to cycling the NC500 next year, that would be greatly appreciated though!
(Is that bealach na mba in your profiler btw??)

18 months of no sun here is perfectly achievable, as you’ve pointed out from your location you’ll also be familiar with that conceptCalps wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2022 1:47 pmWell, you did an exceptional job of keeping it hidden for the 18 months or so I was there then.

We did a forum NC500 in September and the weather was great so hopefully you’ll get the same. We’re doing a not the NC500 in August where we’re doing the inland roads this time.
Yes it is, that was taken by Vormwend or Chippie on the run mentioned above. Was a fantastic trip
