Tyre size and offset for 19”
Guys, I’ve gone thru similar topic and never get accurate answer here. What should I go for 19” wheels without rubbing the arches. I have one useful link which may help anyone here.

I need confirmation from you regarding ONLY 19”, is that setup is possible without any rubbing? Anybody drive on it before?
Front: 19x9" ET28 or ET30 with 245/35-19 tires
Rear: 19x10" ET25 with 275/30-19

I think with those offsets and tyre sizes you'll definitely get rubbing, but I'm sure one of the wheel guru's will be along to confirm.

The lower the et number the further out the wheels protrude
On my e85 I ran 19 inch wheels 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears et35 all round with 225/35 fronts and 265/30 rears without any rubbing but that was on the limit. You’re playing with very small margins and I think you’ll have issues with the set up you are proposing .

Thank so much mate for that. That is exactly answer I needed.
Basically is there any cons or pros to run 9" front and 10" on the back?

It can't be that bad, I am seriously asking. I saw Z4 with that se up and it gives bit more aggressive character. But I can't find no rubbing set up so far for that.

One thing to note, do you have a normal E85 Z4, or a Z4M? the M has different offsets, the guide you've posted for fitment assumes a Z4M.
what wheels do you have the car at the moment? might be worth having a look on http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/ to find the specs of the OEM wheels, and then going on willtheyfit.com to see how new wheels would compare. 10" rear width with an offset of 25 sounds very aggressive for a normal Z4.

Ok. If you fit the wheel sizes in your initial post your front wheels will protrude by 11 mm and the rears by 16 mm compared to the fitment I had and I was near the limit. You’d probably get away with it on the rears as long as you weren’t lowered but I’m doubtful about the fronts.
The tyre widths you are fitting is also a contributory factor as that is where the rubbing mainly occurs

Ok, well so far I have a good overview for tyres on 8.5” and 9.5”. What is set up for 9” and 10”? Anyone with experience?

It all depends on your personal preference and the purpose of the car.
I've ran many a set of 9/10J combinations on e85 z4's which have very high offsets (I.e. x5 wheels) Which are around the 40-50 -ET mark. They usually go on with a 225/35/19 front and a 245/35/19 rear. This is a bit of a stretch and its not to everyones taste.
437M's have quite weak offsets also, i think you should stick to a 225/35/19 front as the front arch liner near where it joins the bumper to the wing is very unforgiving when you start putting bigger wheels on, and will probably catch. Rear are 10J Et40's so you could probably get away with a 265/30/19 but it will be fairly close to being flush. This shouldnt be too much of a stretch though.

Thanks Jamie, so basically if I order 437m I can go for 10” 265/30/19 ET40 then. The front you reckon 9” 225/35/19 will be fine. What offset should be here because you have missed that part.

The Fronts are 9J et29 which will also be quite close. Are you running standard SE suspension? Or m sport?

One thing more yet before I buy set of tyres and wheels. You have et29 and et40 so this is positive I assume. I don’t want order wrong offset by missing information so I prefer double ask you.
