Seems like driver side rocker molding was removed at some point before I bought the car and I found some of the clips that secure it broken. Not a big deal, but the slight gap when the door is open feeds my OCD.
I've already replaced #2 and #3 in the diagram below, but the clips (#5) are just not gripping the car tightly. Question I have is, are there any receiving caps that I also need to get where the clips clip in, or just the clips themselves (#5)?
Thanks in advance.

Think they are the kick plate clips?
Worth after a few years to take these sills off as mud collects behind.
Yet i still have not removed the left one.
Part 4 rubber fills gap between body and the sill. If missing just buy some U channel rubber on Ebay and push in gap, BMW rubber is too expensive.

Yes, they're the kick plate clips. I'll try cleaning things up before I order the clips and see if that fixes it. Thank you.

I remember now they are on the inside of the sill.
There are similar one's that hold the kick plate down, but smaller and white.
