Anyone running 19x9ET 35 fronts?

Post by True-Blue » Sat Jun 11, 2022 6:42 pm

Per thread title, I know 19x9ET 29 works as that’s the standard 437M front size.

Please don’t refer to will.they.fit as it won’t answer the question…

Many thanks

I’ll ask a different question..why?
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Interested to know if they work without fouling issues, on the strut etc

Why would you alter the steering offset if with a spacer you could bring it close to factory spec?

Does the E89 have any factory spec 19x9 fronts? I thought they were 19 x 8 ET29?

Not exactly what you are asking but ours has 19" 8.5 et35 on the front with 235 tyres and have had no problems.
Zito zs05 wheels I think.

The offset is independent of the rim width…or the width

Whether you had 8j or 8.5j or 9j the preferred offset remains the same..

The only reason to move away from the front factory offset is if you can’t square the circle of size vs fouling…

Yes, I realise that, I’m not a big fan of spacers though really if they can be avoided.

Understood …me too..but a 5mm spacer with proper longer bolts is not the crime of the century..

For me better than the incorrect offset..

I know that 9j et33 works, which I've sold a set in the past to a forum member. Fit without issue and a 235 35 19 tyre
