Not for me either.

Headline price always good of course, but the equation is price vs cost…

Low price in the short-term, but long term cost? Plus resale value / time to sell later.

If the price is cheap, it has been repaired properly (with photo evidence) and it is not a car that I care about then I don’t see the issue.

It’s also worth noting that there are lots of ‘unrecorded’ CAT-S equivalent cars out there that people pay full price for without knowing they have ever been in a bump…

However, having said that I wouldn’t personally put my money into one no.

I bought my zed as a cat c 5 years ago, been one of the most reliable cars I’ve owned, you can pick up a good car if you know what to look for. You must understand that a write off may or may not of been someone else pride and joy. Before and after pics. And the bonnet in the second pic is the actual bonnet in the first pic. Did all the work myself.
2005 merlot 2.5 auto.313s.e46 m3 front brakes.Strut brace,poly bush’s front, m front bumper,modified grilles,bc racing coilovers,facelift lights all round,modified rear bumper,s/wheel retrimmed, Merc slk seats. scorpion exhaust, many interior mods.
