E89 3.5i servicing

Post by Johnbmwz4 » Sat May 14, 2022 4:40 pm

Hi, is it right that my car (E89 3.5i ) needs servicing every 30000km or 24 months. Car has FSH and has been done every 2 years. I like to get my cars serviced every time they get MOTd. I’m sure it won’t do any harm to get an interim oil change/ service done every year will it?

E89 3.5i servicing

They changed the serving interval several times and it was different in different markets…

Annual oil n filter change is no bad idea or every 5k-8k depending on type of usage is the general view of good practice..

On a 35is plugs are another item that needs attention regularly.

Gearbox, brake fluid and diff changes are all good ideas at respective periods…
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is
