Im surprised you think the roady is good!

Both imo are absolutely rubbish. No low end very little mid and too much high!

Almost feels like there is nothing coming out of the base speakers behind the seats in mine same experience in the mcoupe.

I was looking at having some installed under the seats to try and make up for it.

i'm amazed!

I think the sound from DSP on my Z4MR is way way better than the sound from my F82 M4 HK system which is awful. Lid down windows up- sounds great

I had a 2000 330Ci with a standard Business stereo which was way better.

There were some recommended settings for the DSP stereo equalizer on this forum, which I used as a starting point and I've tweaked slightly.

Will i still need to code to my Z4 if its a straight swap from another DSP Z4? If so, I'm going to need some help in doing that

The Roadie DSP system has plenty of low end, but lacks clarity in the mid range and the highs are harsh.

Yonks ago, someone on this forum did a full frequency analysis and posted recommended DSP settings to compensate. That transformed the sound completely. From pretty terrible to somewhat enjoyable

But in the roadie in particular, you have that wonderful S54 soundtrack. Always glorious and hard for any music to compete with
