Finally allowed my late-life crisis to acquire a car close to the one I have drooled over for the last 15 years or so (mid-life crisis was a 330Csi) except that I wanted a convertible as well. So I have forgone the coupe, and arrived at the E89 to gain the best of both worlds. I have lurked around the forum for some time now learning about the car, the banter, the niggles, the directed knee heater, totally reflective dials, "thunking" sun visor, run-flats, the problems (roof action seems ok but age is entering the preventative maintenance time period!), tell me again why I bought one of these! but like all of you, the smile has not left my face when giving it the beanz!
I am from the Essex area and have seen a couple of others in the neighbourhood so if you see me around flash your lights and am looking forward to benefiting from and giving any help I can as well as meeting up when possible. Cheers for now....look forward to chatting.

Nice car and great photos, welcome with your new car.
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.
