Yet another 'Grand Tour' of Scotland

Post by B21 » Fri May 06, 2022 6:14 pm

So getting the last and only of my Yellow Perilsset up for a nice road trip over the next 7 days..technically this will be the longest (in terms of miles) single road trip of Scotland I've ever done.

Just got my baby washed and fettled..for the technical among you I've adjusted my tire pressures to 2.48211 front and 2.7579 rears..I've set boost to a peak of 16 to 18 PSI tapering to 12-14 PSI at redline. Oil and coolant checked..

What could possibly go wrong? :tumbleweed:

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard..

Well done on getting both tyres on each axle to exactly that accuracy whilst still keeping your tongue wedged firmly in your cheek.

    Oh dear!
Everyone hates a bar bore. I always think if you're measuring your distance imperially then you should defer to good old imperial for everything else.
Surprised you didn't reply in KPa and hope they knew how to move a decimal point.

Just didn’t want to embarrass my colleagues…as you know in aviation if you pick the wrong aircraft you have to do knots, statute miles, litres, PSI, hecto pascals, feet, US gallons, metres, flight levels and that’s before you started the engines.. :tumbleweed:
