Car Envy. I'm not Immune

Sorry but £130k for a second hand Merc of any variety is too much money. The GT reminds me too much of this abomination:

I knew I should have done my 'Gas Safe/ CORGI' course. I could have a P1 just for the weekend years ago.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

HQ of 'Norfolk Zed Rescue'.
Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

yep thats pretty sweet, i'd have one.

Wonder what his finance payments are like. Just out of interest, has this guy got a wife and kids? If he has, and still got himself that i'm very impressed!

He has indeed and he's a youngster by my standards. 30 something. He loves his toys. Started with a mk2 Focus RS, about the time I bought my ///MR. He never stops. You can only wish people like that the very best in life and watch them soar.

Driven both and I would take the AMG every time. GTR is a much more immersive drive but the Cali has a lot of style if that's your thing. AMG to drive, Cali to cruise in.

Surprised at that tbh, I'd have thought the Cali would be the better car altogether, but I've never driven either so I'll take your view.

I rather like the lines...except for the rear wing which I think let's it down - looks like some kid tacked it on his street Honda. Without that I could live with it....
