Saw these today

Out for a Sunday drive and stopped at a cafe for a cup of tea and saw these in the car park.

I was surprised at the condition of them and the fact they were out in the real world until I did a reg check on them.

The Ferrari is actually a z3 and the porsche speedster is a vw kit car. Still nicer than the normal tin boxes you can buy today.
3.0si roadster. Requisite stubby. Sound gen mod. LED numberplate lights. LED boot strip. Interior lights LED too. ZHP gearknob. Daily drive :driving:
Motor in boot. Bilstein B8 dampers. New radio, much better sounds

I so wanted to build a Z3-based California spider. Just as I was getting near to going for it, the body panel builders (DNA Automotive) were shut down by Ferrari lawyers, so I missed out.
There were a few built (a few are other kits but nowhere near as good) and they are worth silly money already.

Ironically, DNA are now building Speedster replicas, based on early Boxsters.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

The pub meet we went to Sunday there was an elderly couple there. He rolled up in a brand new 911 and she drove her genuine Speedster!
I neglected to get photos, not sure if Jock did?
HQ of 'Norfolk Zed Rescue'.
Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

You sure it's not an F40 with a much prettier body kit added.
