Airbag Light - 93DB - Fixed!!!

Airbag light is on with the code 93DB - step up converter defective. When I took it to a garage they told me that it was the left b pillar airbag module that was causing the issue as their machine was saying it wasn't working & there was a leak that was causing the module to get wet. I've got the correct airbag module for it but found out that all airbag modules were able to communicate at times when the car was plugged in. In the end, the airbag modules didn't get swapped around as I think it may be the main module that is the issue as at times it wasn't able to see either of the b pillar airbag modules. Has anyone had or known of anything similar & what it was in the end?

It was me that plugged in Youdey's car today with a Creator 310+, BMW Scanner 1.4 and BMW INPA in effort to clear the 93DB Code, all attempts to clear and switch the light off failed. There were occassions when the scanners could not see the satellite modules left and right, given this I suspect the main central module may be the root cause. Nothing difinitive found on the Web, suggestions would be very welcome.
On the brighter side the oil filter housing gasket that was leaking was replaced so that was at least something achieved today.

Replacing that gasket prompted me to check mine, noticed a bit wet around that side of the block so set about replacing mine, strip down went ok and sure enough mine was hard and brittle. Popped the new one in and put it all together again so in the two years I have had the car the top end has had all the gaskets changed. Still trying to sort Youdy's airbag light, stumbling block is now coding the Vin to the replacement main airbag module which has been replaced with a used module, separate thread running on this.

After 2 years it looks like I have finally got rid of the airbag light!!! A massive thank you to colb & enuff_zed who have both been amazing to me in helping me fix the issue. I ended up having to use colb's & enuff_zed's expertise to help diagnose the problem & program the VIN to a second-hand module. After 300 miles of driving the airbag light is still no longer showing so I am praying that it stays this way. I am not too sure about the technical side of the process we had to do to code the VIN to the second-hand module but I am sure that might be able to explain what we had to do.

Took a while and didn’t help when my laptop had a moment.
Found that in fact both the centre and right modules were duff and by a stroke of luck I had matching numbers for both.
Then it was simply a case of coding them with the VIN and system time using INPA, WinKFP, NCS Expert and Tool32.
