2.2 Manual Maldives blue 2005

Post by bigwinn » Sat Apr 16, 2022 6:16 pm

Hi all

For sale-

BMW Z4 E85 2.2 manual 2005 in Maldives blue

£3600 forum price

MOT late June 22, 140k miles with service history documented up to 116k (stamped in the book) and Jan 2021 (invoices) plus works I’ve carried out to date.

10 previous owners, one key.

MV2’s in OK condition with non matching but good tread tyres all round

Beige manual non heated leather interior. Multifunction steering wheel. Rear PDC.

Jobs done:

• Fitted 325mm front discs, callipers and pads- huge stopping power!
• Vanos refurbished new seals and rattle rings. New gaskets including valve cover gasket.
• New water pump, thermostat, expansion tank and anti freeze. New air filter.
• DISA checked.
• New front shocks, top mounts, drop links, ARB bushes and new anti roll bar
• Sticky steering adjusted including all joints and rack greased
• Stretched door cable resolved
• Original OEM stereo fitted and aux input
• Short shift knob fitted
• Roof motor relocated to boot and topped up
• New rear suspension: shocks, top mounts, ARB bushes and drop links.
• Diff oil replaced
• Brake fluid changed and bled system, brake lines checked and repainted
• New OSR spring
• Rear callipers painted and tidied
• CDV removed and bled
• New gearbox oil
• Recoloured seats

Recent works (Jan 21)

• Oil and filter
• Sparks
• Cabin filter

Has also had new suspension arms and starter motor in recent years. No GM5 issues. Roof coded to key opening.

Bad points are:

Front wings have been repainted and aren’t perfect- but OK. Front bumper has previous damage and scuffs but again not bad.

This is a great, honest and straight 2.2 manual car- drop me a line for more info.

See pics

Cheers

Stuart

I have driven this car. I borrowed it when Stuart was working on my car. It feels really tight and I reckon is good value for the price being asked.
