Apex Arc-8 opinions?

Thinking of going with some of these Apex Arc-8 wheels (19”) in satin black for the Yellow Peril..

Anyone had any experiences or views on these babies..

8.5`J and 9.5J should suit 245/35 and 275/30 tyres better I think too..

Apex Arc-8 opinions?

I just purchased Apex ARC-8 wheels in Hyper Black. Size: 8.5"/18" & 9.5"/18". To me Apex wheels seem like a good balance of light weight, reasonable cost, and offsets needed for my car.

We have been running Apex wheels on our BMW cars for years. Probably the best bang for your buck anywhere in the world. Super lightweight too, a real plus.

Beautiful wheels, Perfect with the level of detail and investment going into your new car.

Not that you seem that bothered, but You’d be able to resell them in future very easily if you ever decided to move them on and I doubt you’d lose too much money on them either

They don’t come up for sale on the second hand market that often, which I guess means that most people who buy them keep them.

I like them a lot..pity they don’t do a gloss black.. :tumbleweed:

Biggest issue is the rear offset looks like it may not accommodate a 275/30 19 tyre… :headbang:

Yes, I think they do ‘custom’ ET’s and finishes further up their range, but you’re talking significantly greater investment. I’m a bit surprised you’re not keeping the 437m’s, light, strong, genuine BMW.

You can’t get a custom one in the 19” which is required as I want to run the new Conti Sports 7s which are available only in 19” and up.

The 437Ms are a good wheel technically…forged I believe, perfect offset..if anything a bit too wide..

I just don’t like 5 spoke designs..didn’t like the 326Ms on my 20i and don’t like the 437M look. :tumbleweed:

Much prefer a CSL or early BBS style which the Apex Arc-8 pays homage to

After some talks with the Apex techs pressed the trigger on some Apex Arc-8s in 19” 8.5j and 9.5j.

Plan to mate them with some 235/35 19 and 275/30 19 Conti Sports 7s.

Ordering from USA as it’s cheaper even with £150 of shipping and taxes than buying in the UK..madness,,

Won't you have VAT to pay as well?

The £150 can't be including that, or is there no VAT for some reason?

Price landed and all taxes paid including delivery was cheaper than UK list price…

Sounds good, do Apex take care of all the delivery and import stuff?
Or did you arrange that yourself?
