Hi guys,as in the title I’m retro fitting the sports button to my 04 so was searching for white connector and I found this red one also,what’s it for?

A random guess, but could one or two of those be pre-wired for an auto box?

Auto box possibly,some knowledgeable person will let us know hopefully.Going in now I’ve watched a few YouTube videos on removing centre console and nothing broken yet

It’s the (upright) rear console and compartment door you have to be very careful of. If you break some but not all of the trim clips, it’s not the end of the world but it will really p*ss you off.

Dusty shoes modifying my garage door for the z😉console drilled out and plastic trim just crumbled think it was broken already and a good opportunity to fix broken white cord 😎

Well, one plug is for the sports button, there is another one for the airbag deactivation, not sure which ones. So thats two. Interested to know what the others are too!

Easiest way to find out is to connect one of your choosing, select sport and accelerate into a wall. If the airbag fails to deploy you have not plugged into the sport button connector.
Abstinence is fine, in moderation.

Hi Robster68,

The switch (S13772) plugs into connector X13778, which should have pin 1 brown & black, pin 2 grey & red, pin 3 black & grey & yellow, pin 4 green & blue & yellow, pin 5 black & red & yellow. Hope this helps.
