I ordered this scanner JUTA VLINKER MC+ Bluetooth OBD2 Can’t wait to have start in sport mode working.

Apparently not all adapters allow you to code certain features, but the one I ordered should be good.
I’ll try the sound upgrade and making sure it stays in sport more on startup.

You did indeed and it has held! I’m sure a software update might reset it, but still holding!
My adaptor arrives today and I will be coding the sound profile and start in sport individual mode.

So you’re pretty good with these things. What I would really like to code is remote start. I know American BMWs have the feature, but I heard you can code a limited feature. Think it requires someone with an FSC install and coding. Not something we can do.

Just to let you know. Coded so far:
New sound options b&w. (Haven’t tried music yet, but will see how it sounds)
Start on sports individual (tested and works a great)
Video in motion (not tried and doubt I will, but might be worth having for long trips to keep son occupied)

I believe you can code turn signals on head up display, but I haven’t found that and it might be in expert mode.

Curious as to how this works. If you have not got B&W amplifiers and speakers, how do you get the B&W sound. I am guessing you can't but you may get B&W software, can you enlighten me? Thanks

Effectively, you get the B&W custom equalization options, nothing more.

BeeEmm, it’s as above. You get B&W custom equalisation options and algorithms for the digital sound processing.

PS OBD Eleven now covers BMW but no adaptations available so far for the G29.

If you’re referring to “active sound design “ that “enhances” the engine and exhaust sound, yes it can easily be coded out. If you’re referring to something else, you’ll need to be more specific.

When I coded the B+W sound option, I also coded OUT the active sound, The car is so much quieter in the cabin now.. I don't need to hear the exhaust note to enjoy the car.... And it helps to make the music sound better...
