7 months of waiting finally over

Post by Sgreen » Sat Mar 26, 2022 7:18 am

It's been a while, but I am happy to be back in a Z4. It might have felt like the car had been on a slow boat from China but it has been worth the wait in the end. I loved my E89, and whilst I do miss the beauty of my old 35is tthe new car is a beast, I can even forgive it for having a soft top.

The tech In the new car is impressive, the internal stunning and that engine is absolutely awesome.

It is fair to say I am a very happy lady and 💕💕my M40i.

It’s a crazy wait at present, but worth it in the end as the car is just gorgeous. Did you want red seats and so went with the all black look, which in the flesh looks amazing, though photos don’t catch all the details. Great to be back in a zed isn’t it, the M40i is such a good car and the first time you go away for a long weekend you’ll appreciate how much bigger the boot is over an e89 thanks to the fabric top.

Hi Sars,

Actually I went with all black because of the plastic trims, I want the trims to stand out as much, and went for the red interior for two reasons, one to brighten up the interior a bit, and two (more importantly) I have got burnt too many times with black leather seats after the car has been in the sun

I must admit I was nervous of going all black on the exterior as I was not sure if it would work, I have seen the new Z4 in all of the other colours but never completely black. I must say I choose right, I am loving the look with it being all black, I might not love the amount of cleaning that I will have to do but hey that's why I also got the car PPF'd by Reep :)

Congratulations, all black and red interior was our other serious choice but up here I’d have been washing it more than driving it

Me too from a 35iS to M40i, can’t tell you how much more I prefer the G29, tech and, as important to us, space is on a different level.

Enjoy many happy miles in it :driving:
