Still as boring as ever.
Races still being won or lost in the pits.
Drivers still charisma-less robots.
Cars look marginally better but still compromised by FIA-imposed performance limits.
Still hard to get excited about F1.

A bit early to tell. When MB get up to speed, and they will, I think it will be better if the Italians can maintain their speed too.
DRS not impressive with the new cars; needs looking at.
Really hope Haas do well as would love to see Guenther Steiner being interviewed more. He is the most charismatic, and funniest, man in F1 IMHO.
My favourite quote from him so far (on F1 drive to survive 2020); "Ve are supposed to be rrrock shtars, but ve look like vankers".
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Yep, decent first race, lived up to the hype. still some teething issues with the cars to be sorted out, and still some learnings to be done on the tyres - though i found it very surprising how difficult they found it to manage tyres given all the teams had done hundreds of laps around bahrain the weekend before... anyways.

nice to see a very solid showing from ferrari and haas, plenty of work to do by aston martin, alpine and mclaren.

will definitely be keeping me busy over the next 9 or so months!

I only saw the highlights on Channel 4 but really enjoyed it, with a complete change in the established order from previous seasons.

Ferrari seem to have a great power unit which is a great bonus for Alfa and Haas as well!

I really enjoyed watching Verstappen getting past LeClerc 3 times only to get re-taken a couple of corners later.

But if Mercedes were off the pace McLaren were hopeless - something badly wrong there and Ricciardo especially looked to be nowhere.

Anyway the best part of all was that there was no interview with Whinger Spice. :D

Already looking forward to the next race.
Coupes because stunning!

Totally agree with everything you have said Slick, I think that false 2021 title has gone to Verstappen's head...
