We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

A C5 Vette, right hand drive, manual, targa top with an LS1? Low mileage too. What's not to like?
Even the yellow seems to suit it. For £25k ish seems a good buy, apart from petrol at £7.00 a gallon and rising.

One of our buyers, where I worked, dated Miss Wilcox in his day. Probably wishes he'd spent his hard earned on a Corvette.

Toyah was the first person I saw 'live' in concert. I was 17, it was in Aylesbury, she was sexy as feck. I last saw her 3 years ago at a 'let's rock the 80s' festival in Norwich. She was still as sexy as feck. Me less so!

B21, did you actually buy it? The auction winner tag is surprisingly close to your name....

I was seriously tempted…had I not still to sell my 20i E89 and my Jeep…..and if I wasn’t transferring money to various Ukrainian charities then yes I would have…probably good for matrimonial relationships that I didn’t..
I wonder what the ‘vet owners groups are like ?
How much did it go for?..oh I see 22,400…better value than a 35is…

Apologies, thought it was you, would have liked to see what you could have done to that car as well... Looks like people called Pete are liking yellow cars ( I really hope I did not get your name mixed up or I'll really sound silly)B21 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 2:13 pm I was seriously tempted…had I not still to sell my 20i E89 and my Jeep…..and if I wasn’t transferring money to various Ukrainian charities then yes I would have…probably good for matrimonial relationships that I didn’t..

I am surprised it did not sold for more, makes me wonder how it would compare to a Z4M from a power/handling point of view, especially as it is a Z51 package, and prices are close. Sadly, you'd have to wear polo/short/white sneakers and play golf to integrate the owners forums
