Just put a deposit on an E86
Evening! London based guy - just slapped a deposit down on a lovely 09 plate E86.
Has a few niggles to fix, including rear parking sensors that dont work (no noise, no ticking, nothing) as well as some paint repairs but otherwise a very gorgeous car. Picking it up next Sunday.

Car purchased and sat outside my house. Lovely drive back, it didnt rain fortunately so could enjoy it that bit more.
Having owned a VX220 before this enjoyed such luxuries as a heater, power steering and not having to get in and out of the car on my hands and knees!
First job, clean it, polish it, wax it, do everything to it. Then service items (anyone got any links to good service kits online where I can get sparks/oil & air filter/oil etc.). Then a bit of blue tack to stop the sunglasses holder popping open every ten minutes

First job should be photos Glad you got it ok . Service items I normally just check the normal sites such as Autodoc ( if you dont mind waiting for delivery ) euro car parts / car parts online /eBay etc and work out which is the cheapest for same product . Be careful which oil filter you get as some are prone to failing . The Mann filter is the one to go for as far as I remember . Just checked it is Mann HU816X .

You have forgotten pictures, though. This place likes pictures
Regarding service items; have you tried www.autodoc.com? Or they also have a website called www.onlinecarparts.co.uk.

My bad! Got the car home about an hour ago and gave it a quick once over with the Gyeon Bathe+ (I am a car detailing nut I have so much product!) but it will in good time when the weather allows get a full clean, decontaminate, machine polish, and sealant.

Very nice. No idea what a Gyeon Bathe+ is but I’m sure it deserves it

Looks very nice. The 108s suit the car. Once the weather improves, like the rest of us, you will be able to play nicely and occupy yourself for hours.
