I assume you're looking in the usual places, any reason why this doesn't fit the bill?

I have seen/been considering this one, it's just not my favourite colour combo and the mileage is relatively high for its age (I believe...)Zforbes wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 8:27 pmI assume you're looking in the usual places, any reason why this doesn't fit the bill?

Might just be me being too picky, especially seeing as there isn't exactly lots to choose from.

Mileage is no guarantee of condition but agree on the colour combo is not ideal, from appearances this one seems to be good value considering its age.MartyB wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 10:22 pmI have seen/been considering this one, it's just not my favourite colour combo and the mileage is relatively high for its age (I believe...)Zforbes wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 8:27 pmI assume you're looking in the usual places, any reason why this doesn't fit the bill?

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

B21 - I looked at this exact car a while back as I mentioned in another thread
viewtopic.php?t=133304
They seemed very unwilling to talk price and not to mention a leaky shock identified by a MOT check.
They have just lowered the price by £1k so I may give them another call see if now they'd be open to discussions

Hey Timmy - John decided to keep the 35is in the end, looked like a really nice example so I don't blame him at all. I'm sure another will be along in not too long.

The issue here Tim was losing my licence meant it made more sense to sell my new G29 and keep the 35is than the other way round, which Marty has understood and been very good about it.

Don't see how anyone could be anything else... at the end of the day it's your car to do with what you wish
But cheers anyways John

Ah, that's a shame - understandable decision though John, hope you're keeping as well as can be.
Patience is the key Marty, but I personally find it a very frustrating experience when looking for a specific model of a specific car which ticks all the boxes. Been here several times and can't always stop myself from 'settling' for the first just about suitable example rather than holding out. I was only casually looking for a 35i/35is when John's car dropped into my lap - but that was after a good full year.
Hopefully given the time of year will see some fresh adverts hit the market. The right car is out there!

The problem is, Marty, every year you wait there will be fewer cars out there that fit your criteria and have low mileage. I suspect it might be worth compromising on a couple of your requirements - you have to bear in mind the very small number of these cars out there.

Hi Marty, I'm thinking of selling my E89 35iS 2010 if you're still looking? It has 79k miles, so may be too high mileage for you, but it's a really clean example and drives perfectly. The guy I bought the car off actually owned the same car twice (and he bought it off a detailer, so it's been well looked after). Space Grey with Kansas red leather. Just message me if you're interested. Mel.

Hi Mel, unfortunately yes, millage is definitely higher than I'd really want. Also I'm after a post facelift/LCI car.MelC wrote: ↑Tue Apr 12, 2022 9:03 pm Hi Marty, I'm thinking of selling my E89 35iS 2010 if you're still looking? Thanks for reaching out anyways and best of luck if you do decide to sell
