Afternoon all
I have an early stock E85 3.0, but it has Alpina tyres pressure stickers in the door shuts (see pics).
Any thoughts??
I’ve seen many ill advised ‘M Sport’ stickers on stock BMW’s but door shuts seem weird. No other mis-representation.
I’m dreaming of some sort of pre-production mule with a hot engine!!

Seems odd. Wondering if it had a bump and the bodywork is from a donor vehicle?

Those can (could) be bought from Alpina as a spare part. Alpina part numbers are 88 01 148 and 88 01 081. Why anyone would I have no idea unless at some point your car had Alpina Dynamic or Classic wheels fitted
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Sadly everything else is very ‘SE’ standard.
I’d be very surprised if the panel / stickers are from another car as it’s the main B pillar, rather than something ‘bolt on’.
No HPI history of a bump either.

That's all I could think of.
Your 2nd photo looks like the Alpina sticker has been stuck on over something else.
Coupes because stunning!

That would be to supercede the OEM pressures (easier than trying to remove the original). Alpina also crossed out VIN numbers with a metal scribe and stamped their one next to it. All very high tech
I would put money on someone in the past buying genuine Alpina wheels and they came with the stickers. The wheels are obviously long gone, but the stickers remain as they are difficult to remove.

I missed this in the owner’s wallet. Seems someone treated it in the past.

It's very unusual to see an Alpina RS wearing Classics, they were a no-cost option but the vast majority of the cars produced were supplied with Dynamics.
Personally, I can see why, I think the Dynamics suit the car better than the Classics

Respectfully disagree Perry. But then I would, wouldn't I?
