Shouldn’t have done that
So I was giving the car a good clean out yesterday and I had the bonnet up. I noticed a few leaves which were covering a plastic mesh thing down on the passenger side (uk car). Thought it looked like it would just pull out. Turns out it drops back into the unknown rather then pulls out the top . Looks like I need to get it on a lift or get the wheel of and all the bloody trim. Or I order a new one if anyone knows the part number and it will turn up one day.

Where is the plastic? Looking at the fittings it clips in from above though?

the hole that's in the second picture I (closeup) is where there was a plastic mesh looking thing, I thought it should go in from the top but when I went to take it out it fell inside that hole, so its lost inside there somewhere, guess its not a 5 min job to get to the under side of that hole.

I haven't lost the big plastic cover that I took off to get into this space, just the white plastic mesh thing

It didn’t just fall though the car and onto the drive?

No it’s stuck somewhere. Or if it has dropped though it’s long gone as I’ve drove it since.

I always wondered what was under that cover. Won’t bother to look now that I’ve seen your photos. Hope you find it and don’t have to fork out for a new one.Ledg wrote: ↑Sun Jan 02, 2022 10:35 am So I was giving the car a good clean out yesterday and I had the bonnet up.
