The family have supposedly set up a gofundme page to pay for repairs as the driver only has ‘3rd party/liability’ insurance.

I well remember the penny bangers and the jumpy jacks!
Trafalger night was always celebrated in Tynemouth around Collingwoods monument - I well remember them been thrown into the crowd. Scary when only 4yrs old!

Although fireworks don’t make Big Bangs at ground level these days, they are certainly more energetic so I agree - don’t mess with explosives unless you know what you’re doing.
