This page (https://discover.bmw.co.uk/help/ownersh ... -inclusive) indicates the service inclusive pack is always available but only for corporate vehicles nowadays. Therefore, it is possible that BMW makes a special offer to individuals during discount seasons. As said, the worst case is it's been mis-sold to individuals due to system errors (seen many times with other online shops) so they either to keep fulfil it, or to refund the mis-sold individuals.

Yep, saw that, but as said, it may take times to sync from ConnectedDrive store to dealers.
I bought the service pack for my F10 in 2016 from dealer. I remember it took quite a while before BMW's online service booking system identified the vehicle has service pack.

Saw multiple media coverage on this offer including bmw press website (https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/united-k ... -functions). So, I don’t think there is any issue at all. Dealer may not want to promote this as BMW must pay them (the service pack is sold by bmw not dealer so bmw will need to pay dealer for each service. Just like warranty repair) less than we do when it comes to service the car.

Also, many uk g20 owners have bought the service pack with some comments from the owners who bought it last year. Doesn’t seem to have any issue at all. (https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums//show ... 432&page=3)

Interestingly, Mini offers the same service pack on their website as well. But, it’s more expensive than our z4. Considering the B58 is kind of two B38 engine (or B38 is half of B58), the BMW’s offer is really good.

Looks like it’s £680 for the service inclusive.
So long as you keep the car it’s a good deal.

I will only be doing 5-6k a year so not really worth it for me. Well it’s borderline.
I will get the high beam assist if my car arrives in time for the sale!

It will be a good deal even if you do zero mile per year as long as you keep the car for 4+ years as the car need the service at 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year. Quote my previous reply for the calculation:
q96169we wrote: Tue Nov 23, 2021 6:27 pm I don't think my car will go before the second service so for me, it's 1st service at about £350 at year 2, brake fluid change at about £100 at year 3, and 2nd service at about £650 at year 4. So, overall, £687 vs. £1100

Just phone BMW UK and my local dealer's service booking team. BMW UK is useless as usual. All they said is "yes, you've made the purchase of service inclusive pack based on the record on our system and everything has gone through and activated. In terms of using this service, you will need to contact your dealer and they should be able to explain further." What a typical answer from BMW UK. :headbang:

Then, called my local dealer's service booking team, they initially thought I'm asking about the recent service price discount (20% off) if booked online. After clarifying myself and they took some minute to check whatever information held in their system, they confirmed that the car has an active service inclusive pack which covers all regular service items when CBS says they are needed (oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, spark plug for petrol or fuel filter for diesel), CBS standard scope charge, brake fluid, vehicle check, and labour charge as long as the car is within 5 year of its initial registration or within 60k miles whichever reaches first. All I need to do is call them to book the car in as usual and they will sort everything out. If by any chance I'm quoted for any of above items when the car is with them, just point out the vehicle has an active service pack and they should be able to sort out for me.

So, everything sounds good now.

q96169we, Scubaregs,

I’m actually considering this as a resell incentive as I don’t think I’ll still have the car at 1st service. Just need clarification that if I trade in the pack stays with the car or I can pro rata refund it. If I get time I’ll call BMW later for a definitive answer about refund

G29 M40i Thundernight with Ivory interior, all option packs (here for a while, hopefully )
G29 M40i Misano Blue all option packs (Gone 26k of fun)
E89 35iS, Valencia Orange, Design Pure Traction pack (Gone)
    E89 23i sDrive, Silver (Gone)

Argyll Andy, no pro rata refund, but the pack Definitely stays with the car. Not sure that would gain you much at trade in, though would certainly help in a private sale. I have no plans to sell the car and already had £500 put aside in a separate account towards servicing, so made sense to me. Especially as my local dealer wanted around £100 more for their service plan:

Thank you for your interest in the . I am pleased to be able to provide this quotation for you which is based on the details shown in the information panels to the right¹.
This will cover your vehicle for its next 2 services² and costs just £753.85 inclusive of VAT at the current applicable rate(s)³. You can pay by monthly
Direct Debit or alternatively cover the whole cost now with an upfront payment.

There may also have been additional "top ups" required.

Definitely no refund when you sell the car during the covered period. The pack stays with the car until it expires. Also, I really don’t think it will increase any resale value. So, if you don’t plan to own the car for 4+ years, it won’t be a good deal unless BMW bump up the price of a simple oil change from £3xx to £700
