Rocker cover gasket - correct part number?

Post by WJord » Fri Nov 19, 2021 1:09 pm

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help with a quick q: I’ve found this part number for the rocker cover gasket: 11127582245.

I have a 2007 E86 3.0si N52.

After a quick search I’ve found the following at euro car parts, conscious the drop down does not include Z4 at all, but I’ve known ECP website to be fairly inaccurate in most cases. My question is, will it fit?

https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/elring-r ... -368110700

If not, please kindly point me in the direction of the correct part / part number.

TIA,
Will

Simply take your part number and paste it into your browser.

I got this first up.

Probably loads of other options too.

Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

Rocker cover gasket - correct part number?

I think the rocker cover gasket on your engine is metal. Make sure you are not getting a rubber one as it will not fit (obviously). I made this mistake, ended up having to go to my local car parts place to get the correct one. They told me there were two different part numbers for a rocker cover on my car, they brought both out and I could then pick the correct metal one.

Rocker cover gasket - correct part number?

Yes there are two versions of the N52 used in the E86 and one difference is the valve cover gasket. Realoem should give the correct parts from your VIN.
