Pricey but interesting.
One thing i find the standard dials could do with some super bright back lights day time.
My instrument surround is cracking, if i take it off might find some way to make back light brighter.

Nice indeed. The OEM gauges are useful in the right light and angle. Any deviation from that narrow operating band and it’s all dead weight.

Nice idea, but an absolute rip off as anything other than standard you have to buy extra at an equally ridiculous price. They seem to be trying to get all their R&D costs back immediately without thinking of the long term. Which means it could very well be short-lived, so any future back up may not be there!

$1,000+ just to pretend your car is newer than it really is? If they allowed you to display maps on the instrument cluster, or other features such as carplay etc, then it might be worthwhile.

One assumes it's just a £50 mini computer driving a £20 screen. Then £800 of software!

I know who’s going to order one. It comes in yellow, right?

I did that a little while back during the first lock down. Makes a big difference to the cluster if you ask me, also changed the gauge faces while I was at it:

Yes, i thought it had been done before on the forum. I've just removed the gauge led's, just waiting on their replacements.
All been a lot easier than first thought.
Knack is to warm one side of led for 5 seconds, to soften the solder, then heat the other side and lift with tweezers. Then final go back heat other side and they pop off. Removed all 10 led's in a couple of minutes.

Undecided whether to colour the needles red.
I have some red cellophane from xmas pud wrapper.
Could stick under the needle round part and shaft, not sure. Might be too many colours.

Make sure it's clean, as you could be seeing your 'currant' speed.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

You can always blame the excess speed on the naughty needle.
