No Touchscreen or HUD for future Z4s

Spoke to my dealer about Touchscreen deletion yesterday but they were not aware of any announcement in UK (although to be fair they aren’t always that clued up anyway!)

john-e89 No I haven't asked them to follow it up, I'm assuming it will come out officially sooner or later if it applies to UK - tbh my build is still a few months away so situation may have changed again by then anyway.

So I was chatting to the sales manager at my dealer yesterday about my car delays and also discussed this shortage.
As I had previously been told the touchscreen has not been removed from z4 in the U.K.
3 and 4 series it has though.
Tech packs aren’t available to order on any car that isn’t m performance.
He has major problems with cars having to be reordered as they are simply dropped out of system.
Cars drop out of production and suddenly estimated delivery changes to next year.
It’s a mess, but Your car orders should hopefully be fine and arrive as specced. Fingers crossed.

I think you’re ok!

Mine has shipped. Actually left factory. That was Thursday. Haven’t got an update since as live chat is down and I couldn’t be bothered calling the dealer.
Estimated delivery is week of 22nd. We shall see though.
