Love your Datsun, I looked at buying a 240Z a few years back, but in the end I couldn't find one I wanted to buy.
I used to see a few conversion done with the S54, but not for a few years. I guess the increase in value of an M3 makes it less viable than before.

I think that's one of the reasons I was drawn to the Z4 coupe, to me it's always been a bit like an updated Datsun 240z/Triumph GT6. two seats, coupe shape, straight six and back to basics handling. Even the dials are similar in the way they look.

I still have a look on the uk zclub website now and again, maybe one day.

Also, the increase in value of the 240Z, the last 8 yrs the prices have gone crazy and don't seem to be leveling off. 10-20 yrs ago you p/u a good working 240z for $4,000. Nissan made 100,000's of them so parts were plentiful and cheap. The good old days

For sure, they are not getting any cheaper and not easy to get hold of for sensible money now, makes the Z4M look like very good value

My Father's boss had one when I was a kid, so they bring back good memories for me, great looking cars.
