2002 Baur Targa Cabriolet

Post by rdm05z4 » Fri Oct 22, 2021 6:06 pm

Was watching a episode of "Caffeine and Coffee" last night and this car was in a segment. I had not heard of these models before. According to the show they were strictly found in Italy and the UK? This one according to the owner came from Italy. Just thought you might find it interesting. The top for the area over the passenger and driver stores in the Boot.

It does look a bit like a prototype of Clarkson’s “Toyboata”

Just spotted this now. There were rather more E21 models built ( the original 3 series ) and they were popular in the US.
I sold my modified E21 Baur to buy my Z4. I must try and find a photo

I put in an M42 engine and box from an E36 compact. Surprisingly quick and fun
