Wow that’s a heck of a roadConrod wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 7:01 pm I've just started planning the daily routes for my Pyrenees tour in July. I've made a "helicopter cam" simulation of one of them:
Pyrenees Tour 1
It includes the C-28 "Scalextric Track" section I mentioned in a previous post - it's from 0:45 and 1:00 in the video.
It's almost as good as driving it - enjoy!

We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard..

Did version of this trip in 2018 in Audio TT.. Plymouth Santander crossing to start with was best decision! DON'T underestimate size of France! (apologies for egg suckling! )... Pyrenees has best driving roads in Europe.. surfaces like Donington and 10th of Alps traffic volume.. Basque region has its own culture and diet remember... people lovely but menus can be "unusual"!
Overall- VERY difficult to call between Pyrenees and French/Italian/Swiss/AustrIan Alps... If we're REALLY lucky they'll restart the motorail from Calas to Nice (suspended in 2011)... you arrive as dawn breaks ..through the lavender fields. . Into Nice.. roll your car off and straight onto Route Napoleon !!.. magical.

All noted thnx…yes that’s in part why we are taking the Spanish ferry back to give us more time or less miles per day especially hammering along the autoroutes.Zebthezed wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 12:25 am Did version of this trip in 2018 in Audio TT.. Is there a space left on this one, and if so would you mind PMing me the itinerary and a rough idea of the costings? I have just been surprised by my new passport arriving a lot quicker than expected, am owed some time off work, and have an only-just-run-in G29 on the driveway that could be up for some fun... The devil, as always, will be in the details, but I figure I might as well ask!

It’d definitely be properly run in by the time we get off the motorway stuff to let the fun commence on the southern part of the runbaljemmett wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 1:42 am Is there a space left on this one, and if so would you mind PMing me the itinerary and a rough idea of the costings?
