**Now Sold** 2003 2.5 SE - Sterling Grey - Ellipsoids £2200
Reluctantly putting my Z4 up for sale as our house extension has been unexpectedly brought forward to February and it will sadly be in the way, and will be a shame for to deteriorate on my parents drive in the depth of winter. Plan originally was to put it in the garage over winter but as part of the work this is being converted to rooms.
Anyway, the car:
- 2003 2.5 SE in Sterling grey with Style 107 Ellipsoid alloys.
- Owned since March 2021
- 109,000 miles
- MOT until January 2022
- Xenon headlights
- Parking Sensors
- Black leather manual seats
- Auto dipping rear view mirror
- 10 Speaker sound system with the boot amplifier (which works!)
- Wind Deflector
- Parrot Bluetooth kit that comes also with iphone/usb/aux connectors
- Part service history (with lots of paperwork for work carried out from 2014 onwards)
- Genuine ZHP gearknob
- Genuine BMW Stubby Aerial
- Cupholders retrofitted
- All BMW roundels have been replaced with genuine items (front, rear, sides and centre caps)
- New wheel nuts (the originals had gone rusty and were starting to round)
- New boot struts
- New fuel cap
- New fuel vapour solenoid
- New intake boot (old one had split)
- ICV cleaned
- New Bosch Wipers
- Full service completed September 2021 (oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, front brake pads)
- Full Hunter 4 wheel alignment was completed in the summer by Eden Tyres
- Wheels were refurbished by the previous owner in January 2021, so are in excellent condition
- Tyres were all replaced at the same time (budgets but they aren't too bad)
- All shocks were replaced by previous owner in January 2021 with Sachs items
- Roof motor has been relocated at some point in its life
- Roof itself in good condition with no rips or tears, and only minor scuffing from where its been raised and lowered.
Being an early 2003 car all the wiring is there for options so lots can easily be retrofitted.
Bad points:
- Only 1x Key with the car
- The roof is occasionally tempramental. It unlocks but then sometimes refuses to go up however if you give it a quick tug then press the button again it then goes up fine.
- There is some rust appearing on the front N/S arch and rear O/S arch. Doesnt look too bad but would benefit from being sorted to prevent it getting worse
- Some laquer peel on the rear bumper
- Rocket cover gasket is leaking, only seeping out (genuine BMW gasket kit will be included I have'nt got round to doing)
- Windscreen is a bit scratched (I have got used to it though new screens arent expensive)
- Has minor marks, scratches and the odd small dent to be expected with a nearly 19 year old car
- Drivers seat has the usual wear
£2200
I have listed the bad points but I am being picky, the car is nearly 19 years old so is never going to be mint.
I am located in South Derbyshire DE11. If you have any queries or want specific photos just ask
Cheers

After looking at sold prices on ebay I was probably being a bit ambitous with the price based on the issues with it, adjusted accordingly now.

I wonder if you would consider doing a swap of wheels with a few quid you way? Only as we have been looking for good epsiloids for ages!? We have good condition ‘Daisys’ on our Z4 with brand new Michelin PS4’s.
It’s probably a no but gotta be worth an ask!!

Hi tbh I’d rather not start swapping bits off the car really - though as above you are welcome to buy the car just for the wheels

Cant believe this hasnt been snapped up already, but it is a bad time to be selling 2 seater convertibles. but i've no doubt if you put it on ebay it would sell. or sorn it for a couple of months, relist it in the spring with a fresh MOT on.
