Intermittent airbag light - fault codes read
So, had a load of electrical issues due to a dying battery. Changed that out and pretty much everything has resolved itself, bar an intermittent airbag warning.
Used both ISTA+ and INPA to check any issues, printouts attached below. Can delete the fault codes, light switches off. Sometimes it'll come back on when restarting the ignition, sometimes it stays off.
Any ideas?

Take it nobodies ever had this issue before then? Looks like it's a job for a professional in that case

first off i would check big yellow plug under passenger seat as some times they come loose. second i would whilst you have the seat all the way forward put you hand under the carpet to see if its wet. if so the it could be roof drain hole blocked and water has ran down inside on to the SBSL unit. this is located under the carpet back corner of cill.

Cheers Mac, will have a look this evening. Would have expected water damage would be a constant issue though rather than intermittent? Could be wrong of course.mac27040 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 1:30 pm first off i would check big yellow plug under passenger seat as some times they come loose. second i would whilst you have the seat all the way forward put you hand under the carpet to see if its wet. if so the it could be roof drain hole blocked and water has ran down inside on to the SBSL unit. this is located under the carpet back corner of cill.

Fair enough, will have a look when I get the chance. Assume a wet SBSL is a replacement job?mac27040 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 11:07 ami got intermittent faults for a while but was a wet SBSL unit.mjennings23 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 21, 2021 3:51 pmCheers Mac, will have a look this evening. you can replace the SBSL but needs coding to the car as they store mileage and Vin no. etc, you can get a secondhand unit but even more coding is required hers a how to https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LdQ ... ue&sd=true

Absolute legend, thanks for the advice. Will get a proper look at it this weekend hopefully and reseat/clean off all the connections, if no joy then I'll pull the SBSL and see.mac27040 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 4:50 pm you can replace the SBSL but needs coding to the car as they store mileage and Vin no. etc, you can get a secondhand unit but even more coding is required hers a how to https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LdQ ... ue&sd=true

So, turns out the door must have been leaking a while! What started as a bit of an investigation has resulted in removing the seat and pulling all the carpet back in order to dry out the absolutely sodden wet foam under it.
The SBSL shows a little corrosion on the outside, have cleaned it off with isopropyl and there's no obvious shorts on the pcb so will try and see, but I'm aware replacement may well be needed.
