As it happens, it doesn't seem so bad now I have the car. Too busy driving it I guess! I'll see how I go and think on in the spring I reckon.

Welcome to the fold.
I had the same problem with my z4 when I bought it , I seemed to be worse in hot weather for some reason. I replaced the Bowden cable that goes from the handle to the lock mechanism but was not much better so I replaced the actual lock mechanism in the door ....sorted
It is a tricky job as there is not much room in the doors, took a couple of hours to do

Lovely looking car and great photo. Not often that we see someone attempting to win “photo of the month” with their introductory picture :D

Welcome to the forum nice looking car you have there. And I have to say the white really does bring out the lines of the car. I have had one or two white cars over the years and they do look sharp. But are a pain to keep clean as they do tend to show even the crap on a bugs butt!! Anyway enjoy the ride!!!

Hi and welcome.
I had the same problem on my e85. I replaced the Boden cable but it was no better, I then replaced the door lock mechanism and that sorted it ...its a fiddly job as not much room in there.

Hi, is this the one with the blue leather interior? Another touch that makes it a bit rarer still I think

Yep - sure does have the dark blue leather interior. You're making me feel like I've won the jackpot!

I almost went to view this car myself, hence being aware of the interior colour
