Brutal... :rofl:

Points well accepted.. :thumbsup:

I guess I'm still confused how BMW could make such a sequence of errors /judgements but as I did say if works for people so be it..

But then they persevered with run flats..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
A very modified Atacama Yellow 35is :thumbsup:

So this thread made my mind up and just bought Bimercode. Already had the OBD plug required so connected it up and made some changes.

Definitely recommend the B&W DSP change. Bass is much more controlled and punchier and overall the sound is great.

Also coded Sport individual at startup and the Alpina dash. Very nice change to the original and easy to change back

Re my connection issues, Bimmercode gave me this reply;

"Hi,
this is a general problem of most Ethernet adapters that are just not compatible with devices running iOS 15 and there is no way to fix this for us unfortunately. An Apple MFi certified device is required."

Sounds plausible as was working fine until I upgraded to ios 15.0.2
Have an MFI certified device on order.
Abstinence is fine, in moderation.

San Francisco red G29 30i. BMW S1000r Sport.

Bit of a silly question can you code the b&w for the standard hi-fi setup
