I've moved both your last topics, you'll get a much better response in the e85 forums.

Roof Help

Hi
I have a Z4 2006 and the roof doesn’t work. When pressing the roof button the orange shows but nothing happens, any ideas what causing the roof not to work, is it the fuse or motor?

Hi Rafa, welcome to the forum. Best to introduce yourself and your car on the newbies thread, then start your own thread in connection with your roof. Meantime If you use the search function you will find masses of information on roof issues from some very knowledgeable members.

If it has suddenly appeared could it be the local birdies using you for target practice ? When I had my E85 I used the Autoglym clean and protect kit, which did a pretty good job of errr.. cleaning and protecting the soft top . Seen plenty of other alternatives used by members on here, but that’s the only one I tried and I would recommend it.

I wish I knew what is was! My son's zed has a mark like that, though less pronounced, and it won't shift.
I wonder whether it's the result of previous owners' attempts to remove the mark from bird droppings or something, but they've used something stupid. Like bleach solution :o
