You know you want to Ian!
Truthfully I do but as much as I would enjoy having another I don’t know when I would drive it Iain.
Fair enough - that would make it an expensive ornament.
Mmmm! I had a look at it. Looks like a decent car for the money. Mileage is on the high side for me. I have very little expertise in the mechanical field. I’m OK at cleaning and polishing. It is tempting though.
I refer you to the previous comment. you're near Stuart. He'd happily help out with maintenance in exchange for you polishing his I bet. (Not a euphemism!!!)IRD wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 11:09 pmMmmm! Yes I’m really impressed with Stuart’s achievements. He really seems to know what he’s doing. I’m the sort of guy who if I take something apart I end up with spare bits when I put it back together. I have a sneaking feeling that the ‘almost complete project’ will be for sale at a significantly higher price than the Eastbourne car and I can understand why that would be.enuff_zed wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 8:55 amI refer you to the previous comment. you're near Stuart. Having some mechanical knowledge, the mileage is the last thing that puts me off tbh. The engines go forever and the suspension etc is an easy change.
Or if you wanted one with lower mileage and all the jobs done, I know just where there's an almost completed project 2.2.
Oh it's not Stuart's.IRD wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 12:34 pmYes I’m really impressed with Stuart’s achievements. He really seems to know what he’s doing. I guess this is the black one you have listed as one of your current cars. When you are nearer completion let me know what sort of price you are looking for.enuff_zed wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 1:00 pmOh it's not Stuart's.IRD wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 12:34 pmYes I’m really impressed with Stuart’s achievements. All will become clearer as the week progresses.
You've got me thinking. My pump is bare, so would a John Smith's can do ?
I reckon we could start a new trend. May be too small in diameter, but you could cut them and put the gap out of sight round the back.
Sorry- favourite? I usually just look for anything over 45% that isnt medical?
