Hello.
I've recently joined and I'm searching for an E85 M54B30.
My current daily is a NC MX5 with cams, induction, exhaust and suspension modifications.
It makes 200 bhp, normally aspirated.
I have a 1934 Austin 7 race car in the garage.
Most of it in boxes.
By way of introduction, here's the MX5 and some of my previous rides.

Hi and welcome,
Top marks for photos in your post. A couple deducted for them being the wrong pictures, though
Good luck with your search. Maybe put a wanted ad in the for sale section on here. There are always people selling or thinking of selling.

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Welcome on board. Fabulous looking Mx5. Guess you will not be leaving your Z4 standard. Life will be fun.

Welcome, you’ll love the Z when you get one. Great to see the cars that you’ve owned, many of us here just love to ‘improve’ the standard car.

Yes nice collection you have had over the years. And one more vote for the Prisoner!!! Funny currently Binge watching the show over the pond here. Must admit you British had and do have some great Telly shows. ie Dr. Who !! As a famous comedian from the US once said. "Thanks for the Memories". But I got off track.... Welcome to the forum good luck with the Z hunt. (gee sounds like another old 50's show from here Sea Hunt).. !!!! Beware the Z ownership is one that will soon become a sickness / obsession but in a good way!!

Thank you for the friendly welcome.
The Seven was an early pre-litigation Westfield - and so very similar to a Mark III.
It originally had an A-Series but evolved into an 1800 twink carrying twin Weber 45 side draughts, lit with Dunnell ignition.
I finished it with an Escort Mexico live axle and diff, Princess 4-pot calipers and Spax dampers.
With 300bhp per tonne, it was fun.
The Rapier underwent full restoration and sported a Holbay top-end on 40DCOEs, with brazed manifolds, and was regularly on the rollers after head work and camshaft experimentation. I sold it to a chap who completed the Monte Carlo Rally in it.
The Spitfire was a significantly modified Mark Three, on a 68 plate. It ran a 1296 on twin SUs with a Jigsaw cam. It had a camber compensator and was in the weeds on semi-slicks. With a roll-cage, extinguisher and all that jazz, the photo shows it in the paddock at Castle Combe.
Prior to the MX5, I ran a BGT as my daily vehicle. It was a 71 in Tundra Green. Apart from some minor improvements to the brakes, it was stock.
