I'm another one who isn't keen on the wood trim either. A lovely car overall though for sure. 8)

If I buy it quick she won't know. She had an operation this morning, so isn't be available for comment yet. :o
Is that REALLY bad?
Do you have a nearby street with no parking restrictions on which you can hide the car?

I really like the fact it is different, 1 owner, low miles and a very rare car. I am just struggling with £17k for a 13 year old, pre-LCI E92.
The Alpina B3 is a lovely car. That, to me seems a very good price. I am a member of the Alpina Forum and saw this. A little odd that she thought it was a D3. I think it may be reduced even further now.

Why don't you arrange a test drive and you will probably buy it.

I had a test drive of an Alpina B5 and it was probably the most amazing car that I've ever driven. Unfortunately Sytner wouldn't offer me enough for my SL500 to make the change economically viable which is something that I still regret 10 years later

My local BMW guy said any Alpina is the best driving car he's ever driven (he's looking for a B10).

Apparently, according to the chap selling (cos I asked this) it was a mis-communication when it was originally advertised on Facebook. As he said, no-one would own a car for 13 years and not know what fuel it uses :D

I had a B10 and it was a superb car and the stupidest thing I did was to sell it to buy an SL500 that I didn't really like and sold after about four months dropping a packet in the process

That Alpina looks like a good buy.

I'm not a big fan of wood, but it's possibly more acceptable in a 3 Series than a Z4. I wouldn't enjoy cleaning those wheels though!

I am of the same opinion Mr T. It will keep me off the streets, though and give me a hobby. I do have a strange fetish about cleaning cars. Cleaning wheels like those is like 'it hurts so good'. Maybe I'm a closet masochist, just didn't know it :D

It's a shame you are so far away then as you'd be more than welcome to clean mine - and 224s have far fewer spokes!
