Your new car will look great once you have worked your magic on it with the full aero kit.
Personally I think the aero boot spoiler would finish the look off really well, but all that aero kit is going to be nearly 50% of the value of the car!

Yeah- I kind of agree you know
I think yes to the boot spoiler! Not that I am biased or anything...
Thank Dan! Appreciate the view!TheDan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 10:31 amI think yes to the boot spoiler! Not that I am biased or anything...
But genuinely, I think it helps with the look of the car when the rest of the aero kit is fitted. Without it, the look is incomplete IMO. Following your Project Aero progress btw, love the look of this car!
Yup, adhesive. BMW used this one from factory (or dealer if it was fitted after): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265214757665. I am sure a decent 3M adhesive (for the correct material application) would also do just as well.

I do remember seeing a guy on Youtube drilling his boot lid and using screws (it doesn't look/feel the right way to do it!) Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szcgU80Xq54
Sorry for the thread hijack! Here is another photo of my aero to make up for it

I'm with you on this one. The original lines look more cohesive and less fussy. Appreciate everyone has there own taste though, so it's all good.
TigerSeal and 3M. Don’t drill it there’s no need.
Did you use the Tiger seal around the outside edge and the 3M tape inside or the other way round ?
