I was running low on magic go juice and couldn't get to Tesco or my local Shell (combination of road works, Saturday traffic and my impatience) so pulled into the local Esso for their super duper now 99 RON fuel.

The pump had a, large sticker saying that their "Supreme" is now protecting cars that have to have E5 - not that fussed as our cars can use E10 but at 1.559 per litre they've clearly ramped up their prices.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Had to do the lazy option today, wasn't sure local Tesco was open (intermittent lately) so opted for some BP Ultimate at £1.54 a gallon.

My local Shell no longer have the electric display on, so they must be too embarrassed to show the prices.
I've gone back to Sainsbury's super unleaded.

Bargain - please let us know where that one is!

Although you probably meant a litre.

I've had to use Shell and BP a couple of times (like when I had a fe days in Wales) and noticed that their Super Plus is way more expensive than their Regular, so haven't bothered trying the new Esso. As my nearest filling station is Tesco I just stick to Momentum.

Oops! Yes, bit optimistic there :D .
Had an enjoyable few hours at Hemingford car show today, and some good fun driving back.
