E89 Z4 23i Price drop to £9250
updated...12/08/22
Tentatively listing my Z4.. a very well sorted 23i, it was already a decent example when i picked it up 2 years ago and I have since thrown over £3.5k at it... A 2009 model, it has a full service history and sits on 70k miles, mot until March 2023... best colour combo imho, deep sea blue and Ivory white extended leather
new battery
new rear springs
new rear drop links
new rear brake pads
new salmon relays
new 19 inch inovit multispoke alloys with new dunlop sportsmaxx rt2 all round and new wheel centre caps
Refurbished Royals steering wheel in nappa leather
Zhp gear knob
New speakers all round with micro amp and underseat subwoofer, stereo now sounds as good as the car looks
Quantum remap giving the car a bit more poke low down so it goes better than most 23i
modded original back box to release the straight six soundtrack
Freshly painted calipers and hubs
Lci indicators
debadged
Diamond car mats as well as original mats
Se spec so softer suspension drives beautifully and even on 19s it is comfortable and compliant.. it has the light package, mfsw, usb/aux inputs enabling Bluetooth music streaming electric folding mirrors, Bluetooth calling, wind deflector, heated m sport seats, design white interior giving extended Nappa leather and alcantara in fantastic condition.. Its is a joy to sit in coupled with the royals wheel and zhp
Bodywork is excellent with just the usual minor stone chipping on the front bumper and a little road rash towards the rear of the side skirts, there is one very small scratch on the roof that was touched up by the previous owner, it is a maximum of 1cm long.. deep sea blue in colour, you will see from the attached pics it polishes up beautifully
Wheels as stated are new and immaculate.. they have also been ceramic coated from new so when washed they come up looking brand new every time.
Price is £9250, I think with the service history, condition new parts and upgrades its a fair price in the current market,(opinions are welcome) there may be a few cheaper kicking about in private sales but I doubt there are many better. The car drives beautifully, everything tight and pretty much rattle free.
Only advertised on here for now, if it doesn't sell I'm happy to keep, as much as I fancy a change after 6 years in Z4s I'm also happy to run this beauty for a few more.
Car is located in North Wales, just 15 mins over the border from Chester

Looks brand new! really like the alloys. A lot of car for the money when you see some of the ridiculous prices that 23is are being advertised for at the moment (I think £10500 too cheap!)

I hope you’ve started looking for it’s replacement bud as I don’t think it’ll be around for long, especially at that price.
Not that I anticipate you’ll need it but GLWTS

Got my eye on something mate but don't be surprised if this sale gets withdrawn if I'm not smitten after a test driveArgyll Andy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 5:13 pm I hope you’ve started looking for it’s replacement bud as I don’t think it’ll be around for long, especially at that price.

Lovely looking motor.
I kind of hope there's no takers as I'm sure you'll regret it.

Your car looks fabulous but then you have put in a lot work into it so it will be a shame to see it go but good luck with the sale anyway.

I also think you are about £2k under with £10,500.
Have you checked WBAC recently? Prices have gone crazy.
Also, how did you fit the zhp knob? I didnt think it was possible on e89?
Great looking machine, and extended leather is mint.

Zhp is an easy enough fit, its pretty much just a straight swap with just a little modding required with dremel or file to the plastic fitting on the gaiter so it matches the oval shape of the knob base (oo-er missus ) about 10/20 minutes work iirc
