E89 Z4 23i... WITHDRAWN!
Had my 23i now for 7 years this year, couldn't find a 3.0 with the spec I wanted at the time. I must admit I felt a little disappointed it the first day seeing as I'd just had a 4.2 aluminium jag, but I found the s button and that brought a smile to my face. With 19" alloys and non runflats it handled corners really well, and for something that's probably only used sparingly at weekends it has ample performance for me. Over the period that I've owned it the car has been extremely reliable and affordable, without the worries of some of the higher spec models, naturally aspirated with what seems a bullet proof engine and without any potential turbo problems to consider eventually. I still think it looks great, not many cars in its sector that look good roof up or down and I think the fabric roof on the G29 is still a bad decision.

So..a 30i has come along in the same combo as my car although slighly higher mileage, auto and not quite as slick as mine its something I could work with I think to get looking as good..so I'm opening this sale back up for a week or two..car is freshly serviced and mot'd a month ago and so carrying 11 months mot.
If the the 30i goes then I'll be holding onto this,,but if anyone is currently looking for one of the best 23i on the market ..now is your chance

Having recently picked a manual 30i in this colour combo I wholeheartedly recommend it. I thought I might be a bit underwhelmed after previously owning a mapped N20 E89, but not at all. I have no doubt the mapped N20 is faster, but the 3.0 N52 really suits the car and it’s plenty quick enough in real world driving conditions. To be honest it doesn’t feel any slower than the 3.0Si E85 I just sold, I’d say go for itmr.tourette wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 1:16 pm So..a 30i has come along in the same combo as my car although slighly higher mileage, auto and not quite as slick as mine its something I could work with I think to get looking as good..so I'm opening this sale back up for a week or two..car is freshly serviced and mot'd a month ago and so carrying 11 months mot.

I’d also suggest a classified add on EBay if your serious about getting the new car on the drive, your audience here is limited compared to EBay, autotrader or FB market place. FB market place & Gumtree are free too, reach a wide audience and you could be saddling up the unicorn before you know it

What a beautiful car! I'm new to Z4's, and I'm not sure whether I'd want the responsibility of one that feels like a work of art.

Thanks buddy, a work of art is perhaps a little strong, it is still just a car at the end of the day and not a particularly exotic one at that It is a very nice example of an e89 23i though..cheers

E89 Z4 23i Price drop to £9250
Ok, in light of the current drop in the market Im lowering the price on this.. I really would like to sell on the forum so it remains for sale only on here for the time being.
I am almost certainly set on a new toy next summer and will properly advertise it elsewhere come spring next year.. in the meantime if anyone is looking for a superb example of an e89 23i this one is available, mileage will creep slightly as summer wears on but wouldn't expect it to exceed 71500 at the very most.

They certainly seemed to have made the interior materials a lot better compared to the E85 as it looks very good.
Perhaps I need to look into the e89 instead as there is no e85 si models coming up for sale at the moment without inter galactic miles or rather optimistic pricing (or both)

Cheers, I actually put a deposit on one exactly like yours but an Auto (46k miles on it for £10,000), AND THEN checked the history, and it came back as Cat N….. I don’t want a car that has any categories attached to it, so I asked for. My deposit back…. Nada…
Lesson learnt there !
Good luck with the sale!

That's interesting, I've been considering letting mine go (2009, 36k, auto, FBMWSH, iDrive, PDC etc....) but the prices I've been offered are all over the place and some of then a bit insulting! (chancers). The car market is crazy at the moment, I've just sold my Toyota run-a-round for £1K more than I paid for it 5 years ago!Owler wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 1:44 pm Cheers, I actually put a deposit on one exactly like yours but an Auto (46k miles on it for £10,000), AND THEN checked the history, and it came back as Cat N…..
